Basic requirements: Highly organized. Fascinated with supply chain and operations. Ideally 3-7 years of experience ideally in consumer product goods with broad responsibilities for managing supply chain management (including purchasing, inventory management, and production planning). Candidate should be hungry, energetic, and excited to build a company. College degree desired. Spanish or international experience is a plus.

Full role:
Leadership over supply chain, inventory, margin structure, product quality & product development
• This position is the key and only leader managing all activities as it relates supply chain
• Positive leadership team contributions & company-wide contributions especially integrating sales forecasting with supply chain management to ensure limited out of stocks and manage cash
International sourcing
• Oversee international sourcing and coordinate all international sourcing activities in Latin America and Asia to ensure continuous supply of product services and supplies, avoiding stock-outs and/or recalls
• Assess movement to more international production including end to end projects in Latin America
• Maintain positive relationships while understanding cross-cultural and language barriers
Planning & forecasting processes
• Develop the planning infrastructure for sweetriot including sales forecasts, functional plans, annual strategic planning, and budgets
• Create process design and implementation tactics to create team buy in and motivation around planning
Partnership development
• Communicate with all suppliers for sweetriot to develop win-win relationships
• Represent sweetriot externally as a partner of choice
New product roll outs
• Work with Mastermind on new product concepts and roll out plans
• Seek out suppliers and co-packers for product development
• Work with team and Mastermind on new product forecasting
Warehouse & supply chain oversight
• Develop vision for supply chain of sweetriot into the future
• Create production timelines and manage all co-packing, warehouse, and other assembly operations
• Implement all necessary quality programs (such as ISO 9000 or HACCP) to guarantee consistent, high quality product that meets all customer, regulatory and company requirements
• Oversee assembly warehouse in New Jersey including quality control, product runs, and cost management
Cost management & margin improvement
• Constantly strive for margin improvements in the supply chain
• Identify key solutions & ideas for the future
Customer order management
• Communicate with warehouse on daily basis and review quality and timeliness of order shipments
• Set up system for flow of orders between team, customers, and warehouse - both wholesale, distributor, and online
• Oversee all order fulfillment activities, including storage, shipping, and receiving and coordinate with Sales as required
• Move from current CCG warehouse to new warehouse for quality improvements
Inventory forecasting and management
• Work with sales team on supply needs & forecasting
• Report on new inventory developments
• Manage physical inventory counts and inventory security
Office design, systems, & stability
• Plan for future office growth and staffing capability
• Ensure office is working & online for the team
• Oversee all supplies for the office
• Serve as active member of the homebase team
• Manage any outsourced services such as Cisco and IT
